On October 28th, 2025 at approximately 14:30 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on S. Buckley Rd. at the intersection with E. Progress Drive. Engine 22 arrived on scene and found two heavily damaged vehicles with multiple patients. Additional units were dispatched to the scene. Crews were on scene about 30 minutes treating the injured and assisting parties out of the damaged vehicles. At least two people were transported by ambulance to a local hospital and two others were examined at the scene. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
