Arvada Citizen’s Fire Academy

The Arvada 2025 Citizen’s Fire Academy (CFA) was held on several dates including October 18th, 2025 with the finial weekend hands-on-training at the Arvada Fire Protection District Training Center. CFA is an educational and hands-on program designed to introduce residents to the daily operations of Arvada Fire and the fire service, with stations tours and facilities, learn from experts and build some fun skills with technical rescue, mockup interior obstacle course, hose-to-hydrant connection and fire hose use, water & ice rescue, hazmat, vehicle extraction, wildland fire, CPR training, aerial rides and a mockup interior obstacle course.
