Aurora Structure Fire

On June 21st, 2025 at 22:42 Aurora Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire in the 1700 block of N. Argonne St. Battalion 1 arrived to a single-story house with flames from the front door. Engine 5 started on the water supply and pulled a line in for fire attack and Ladder 5 on the primary search. Engine 12 assisted with the water supply to Engine 5 and then pulled a 2nd line in. Crews found fire in a bedroom which was contained quickly and all searches of the home were clear and the incident was placed under control at 22:58. One patient was transported to a local hospital with smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Additional information provided by Aurora Fire Rescue
