At 13:08 on March 25th, 2025 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 11900 block of E. Archer Place in the Highline Villages neighborhood. Aurora 911 received multiple callers reporting a possible apartment fire. Engine 4 arrived on scene to a three-story garden-level multi-family and found a well-involved bedroom on the first floor apartment Charlie side and initiated fire attack. Engine 2 and Ladder 2 arrived on scene shortly after. Engine 2 secured Engine 4’s water supply while Ladder 2 conducted the primary search. Crews quickly got control of the fire and kept it contained to the room of origin. One person was evaluated on scene but declined transport. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
