On July 5th, 2025 just before 00:30 Aurora Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire on N. Havana St. at E. Colfax Ave. Engine 2 found an exterior fire spreading to the side of a two-story building. The first floor is a garage with living space above it. Firefighters immediately entered the structure and all searches were clear. The incident was placed under control by 00:45 with extensive overhaul was needed to extinguish the smoldering siding and Xcel Energy assisted with a burning electrical pole. No injuries occurred and investigators were unable to determine what caused the fire. Additional information provided by Aurora Fire Rescue
