On June 22nd, 2025 around 21:30 Aurora Fire Rescue responded to a reported house fire in the 1600 block of N. Bahama St. Engine 5 arrived to a working fire from a single-story single-family structure with smoke and flames from the kitchen, started fire attack and started on the water supply. Ladder 5 started the primary search and Engine 2 assisted with the water supply. Battalion 1 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy. Engine 12 secured a 2nd water supply. All searches were all clear, and the incident was placed under control at 21:50. No injuries occurred during the incident and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
