Boulder Commercial Fire Investigation

On March 8th, 2025 around 05:15 Boulder Fire-Rescue Department responded to a possible fire at 1880 55th St. in East Boulder. Boulder Police & Fire Communications advised that Boulder Police Department on scene reporting smoke inside the building and the call was upgraded to fill the box. Truck 147 arrived to a large commercial building with nothing showing and started the investigation. Battalion 143 arrived and assumed command. Engine 143 set-up a dry water supply line and then assisted with the investigation. No fire was found and the issue may have been caused by a light ballast in the middle of the building. The building was ventilated and no other smoke was found. Additional information provided by Code 10 Photography
