Training Center Uncoupling Ceremony

On November 15th, 2025, the Brighton Fire Rescue District held an uncoupling ceremony and open house for the grand opening of the new training center at 5 Firehouse Rd. The ceremony included a hose uncoupling ceremony with Fire Chief Brycen Garrison, the mayor, fire board members, and others, which was followed by an open house and tours of the facilities. The new training center was funded by oil and gas property taxes that the fire district receives, along with some grants from the state of Colorado, and did not come from residential or commercial property taxes. The new training facility features training classrooms, inside and outside training areas, and a museum housing some of Brighton Fire’s restored apparatus.
