MVA With Vehicle Into Building
Approximately 11:06 on April 14th, 2025 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle collision involving a structure at 6436 Quebec St. Building # 7 in Centennial. Upon arrival, fire crews found a passenger vehicle that had crashed through an exterior wall of a commercial building housing 14 separate businesses. One occupant of the vehicle required extrication and was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. All occupants inside the building were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported. The impacted business space was unoccupied at the time of the crash. Further investigation determined that the vehicle initially struck Building # 6 and collided with two parked vehicles before coming to rest inside Building # 7. Due to structural damage, South Metro’s Technical Rescue Team responded to shore both the affected wall of Building # 6 and the compromised exterior wall of Building # 7. Once the area was stabilized, the scene was turned over to the building owner and the City Of Centennial building inspector for further evaluation. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue.
