Cimarron Hills Structure Fire

At 15:52 on April 17th, 2025, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center dispatched the Cimarron Hills Fire Department and Falcon Fire Protection District to 1582 Minnetonka Place for a possible structure fire. While enroute, Ladder 1331 observed heavy smoke several blocks away and declared the incident a working fire. Ladder 1331 found a detached garage on fire behind the residence and began fire attack. Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire, but the garage and an adjacent chicken coop sustained extensive damage, while a neighboring property suffered minor damage. No injuries were reported, and fire is under investigation by the Pikes Peak Region Fire Investigation Unit. Additional information provided by the Cimarron Hills Fire Department
