Colorado Springs House Fire
On August 19th, 2025 at 14:30 Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center dispatched the Colorado Springs Fire Department to a structure fire in the 2600 block of Hagerman St. While en route, Engine 3 saw a visible column of smoke and called a working structure fire. Engine 5 arrived to heavy fire and smoke coming from the side of the home. The fire quickly spread to the attic. Several ventilation holes were cut in the roof to assist in the firefight. Firefighters got water on the fire quickly and had the main body of the fire knocked down 10 minutes after arrival. Luckily, all occupants of the home made it outside before firefighters arrived on scene. No injuries were reported to any civilians or firefighters. Four people and their pets are displaced.
