South Adams Structure Fire

On February 13th, 2025 approximately 03:00 South Adams County Fire Department, Thornton Fire Department and Platte Valley Ambulance responded to a residential structure fire in the 6500 block of E. 88th Ave. Crews arrived on scene to find an active fire in a small single-family residence and were able to quickly bring it under control. A family of five was displaced, and the American Red Cross will be assisting them. The cause is unknown and no injuries were reported.
