On January 1st, 2025 Weld County Regional Communications Center dispatched Mountain View Fire Rescue to reports of a fire in a mobile home along Colorado Blvd. on the south side of Dacono. Engine 207 arrived on scene and confirmed a working structure fire from a mobile home and started fire attack. Crews worked the fire quickly to save other mobile homes that were very close to the main fire unit.
