Poudre Garage Fire

On April 17th, 2025 at 21:06 Poudre Fire Authority and UC Health EMS responded to a possible structure fire in the 4300 block of Winterstone Drive in Fort Collins with multiple 911 callers to Fort Collins 911. Engine 5 arrived to a two-story home with a working fire from an attached garage and pulled an 1 3/4 for fire attack. Ladder 5 pulled a 2nd line off Engine 5 to the front door and Engine 14 secured the water supply. All primary and secondary searches were clear and the fire was put under control at 21:18. Four people were home, and they were all able to exit before firefighters arrived. There was one dog in the backyard which crews helped out and reconnected with the family. No injuries were reported. The fire did not extend inside of the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by the Poudre Fire Authority
