Community Safety Day

On April 12th. 2025 Frederick-Firestone Fire Protection District held their annual community safety day at the Home Depot in Firestone. The community came out to meet with first responders, tour the apparatus, fire extinguisher giveaways, learn valuable safety information with safety demonstrations and the first annual firefighter chili showdown. The Colorado State Patrol, Firestone Police Department, UC Health, Weld County Regional Communications, Carbon Valley Emergency Management Agency (CVEMA) and others participated in the event.
