Brush Engine 24 Push-In

On December 17th, 2025 Golden Fire Department held a traditional “push-in” ceremony for the new Brush Engine 24 at Station 24, 151 Heritage Rd. The event invited the community to help roll in the the new truck into the bay and after snacks with refreshments and information about the future of the fire services in district. Staff was on hand to talk about the fire strategic plan with questions, ideas and priorities for community safety and wildfire preparedness. The new Brush Engine is a 2025 Freightliner M2-106 Plus 4×4 / BME Bighorn with 750 gallons of water and 1250 GPM pump.
