Water-Related Traffic Incident

At approximately 11:30 on April 18th, 2025 Greeley Fire Department and UC Health EMS were responded to a water-related traffic incident in the 2900 block of 20th St. at the Sanborn Park. A vehicle had lost control and entered the Greeley Lake West Reservoir. at the park. Upon arrival, crews confirmed that five occupants had safely self-extricated from the vehicle and the water. Firefighters conducted a search of the vehicle and the surrounding area to ensure there were no additional individuals present. The crews also prepared tow straps to facilitate the removal of the vehicle from the water, which was performed by a local tow company. The five occupants received medical evaluation and care from GFD and UCH EMS personnel. Information provided by Greeley Fire Department
