Grand Opening Ceremony

On February 20th, 2025 Jeffcom 911 head a grand opening ceremony and ribbon cuttings for their new 911 Emergency Communications Center, located at 440 Indiana St. in Golden. The new state-of-the-art facility was open for the community get a rare look into the building with tours to see the full dispatch center including the employee gym area, quiet room, marketplace and more. The Jefferson County Communications Center Authority (JeffCom) is a consolidated communications center serving as a vital link between emergency services and the community in Jefferson County and Clear Creek County. Jeffcom911 works with local fire, police and emergency medical service providers to dispatch the appropriate emergency responders, as well as to provide support for public safety education. Jeffcom 911 was originally located 433 S. Allison Parkway at the West Metro Fire Rescue (Colorado) Administration Building.
