Foothills Pancake Breakfast

Foothills Fire Protection District held their annual pancake breakfast at the Lookout Mountain Fire Station on June 1st, 2025. The community members turned out in support of their local fire department, while enjoying all-you-can-eat pancakes, fruit snacks, with plenty of coffee. Adults and children alike, enjoyed interacting with their local fire crews and law enforcement personnel, try on bunker gear, free fire truck rides, face painting, a silent auction, and a petting zoo. Highland Rescue Team, Genesee Fire Protection District, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Open Space, Jefferson County Animal Control, Colorado State Patrol, Front Range Animal Evacuation Team (FRAET), Jefferson County Horse Evacuation Assistance Team (Jeffco Heat), Jefferson County Horse Council (JCHC), Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office and others were on hand with information booths and activities.
