West Metro Semi Trailer Fire

On April 20th, 2025 at 14:41 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a reported vehicle on fire I-70 eastbound just east of the Denver West Marriott Blvd exit. Engine 5 arrived to an tractor-trailer on the shoulder of the highway with the trailer on fire and started the fire attack with an 1 3/4 line. Engine 6 arrived and set up with traffic safety and two lanes were shut down and Tender 6 with the water supply. The fire was put out at 14:59 and crews started overhaul.
