Loveland Brush Fire

Just after 16:30 on August 17th, 2025 Loveland Emergency Communications Center (200) received multiple 911 callers reported a wildfire fire in the 2300 block of S. County Rd. 29 southwest of Loveland. Engine 476 arrives in the area and located a brush fire burning in tall grass behind a home at the base of the ridge on the east side of S. County Rd. 29 and started fire attack. Crews were able to access the fire and contain it to approximately 3.5 acres. A Thompson Valley EMS ambulance was requested to the scene to evaluate two civilians complaining of smoke inhalation that had attempted to fight the fire before Engine 476 arrived. Firefighters worked on mop up on hot spots for several hours. Additional information provided by Loveland Fire Rescue Authority
