South Metro Commercial Fire
At 05:50 on November 8th, 2025 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a reported commercial fire at the Southridge Club Pool, 7725 S. Prescott St. in Littleton. Dispatch advised that 911 caller reporting smoke and flames coming from a vacant and boarded up building with possible pool chemicals stored inside and the call was upgraded to a confirmed commercial structure fire. Battalion 1 arrived on scene to a vacant commercial building with smoke showing from the Bravo side and set-up command on the Alpha side in the offensive strategy. Engine 16 arrived and pulled a line in with Medic 16 for fire attack and Engine 15 secured the water supply. Ladder 12 assigned with the primary search and Medic 12 as medical. Crews conducted interior search and found heavy fire on the main floor extending to the second floor and attic space and the fire went to defensive operations. Engine 17 established a second water supply. The fire was put under control at 06:48 and crews worked an extended overhaul. No injuries reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the SMFR Fire Marshal’s Office. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
