At 01:59 on April 15th, 2025 Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, Berthoud Fire Protection District and Thompson Valley EMS responded to the 300 block of Terri Drive on a reported structure fire. Loveland Emergency Communications Center received multiple 911 calls reporting an apartment fire. Engine 43 arrived on scene with a working outside-in fire on the first and second floors with extension to the attics space. Based on the on-scene report, Battalion 41 upgraded the incident to a 2nd alarm. Engine 43 deployed an attack line to control the exterior fire and secured a water supply. Engine 42 advanced an attack line to the interior for fire control and search. Battalion 41 arrived on scene and completed a command transfer. Engine 41 was assigned to secure a second water supply and deployed a fog nail line to the Charlie side with the crew of Ladder 46 for control of the attic fire. Command assigned the Engine 43 officer as the attack group supervisor and Battalion 61 as the support group supervisor. The primary search and fire control were achieved quickly, allowing several 2nd alarm companies to be released from the scene/staging.
