Loveland Attic Fire

On April 4th, 2025 just after 18:00 Loveland Fire Rescue AuthorityBerthoud Fire Protection District and Thompson Valley EMS was dispatched to a possible structure fire on E. 1st St. in Loveland. The first arriving engine company found heavy smoke coming from the attic of a house, reports indicated that everyone had exited the house safely. Fire crews advanced multiple hose lines to attack the fire, secured a water supply from a hydrant, searched the structure to ensure no one was still inside and ventilated the smoke from the house. Crews will be on scene for several hours completing overhaul operations to verify extinguishment and to investigate the cause of the fire.
