Poudre Fire Low Angle Rescue
On March 6th, 2025 at approximately 13:51 Fort Collins 911 dispatched Poudre Fire Authority and UC Health EMS to the 1800 block of Baltusrol Drive for a medical. This call was quickly upgraded to a rescue callout when dispatchers advised the patient had become unconscious and fallen about 10 feet into the foundation of a residential structure under construction. Engine 12 arrived on scene and began patient care. Firefighters from Tower 1 were able to use a ground ladder to get equipment and personnel down to the patient. Firefighters and Paramedics loaded the patient into a stokes basket and extracted them from the residence.
