West Metro Red Rocks Rescue

On April 27th, 2025 at 12:28 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported back country rescue at Red Rocks Park, W. Alameda Parkway & Red Rocks Trail Rd. Upon arrival, crews located an elderly person on the trail, approximately 100 yards from the roadway. It was determined that the patient received a fractured ankle and was transported to a local hospital. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
