West Metro Vegetation Fire

At 14:44 on July 2nd, 2025 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a outside fire at the former Bandimere Speedway, 3051 S. Rooney Rd. in Morrison. Engine 9 and Brush 9 arrived to a small slow-moving vegetation fire and crews pulled a line in for fire attack. The fire was quickly knocked down. The fire cause is unknown.
