On January 22nd, 2025 at 21:56 Poudre Fire Authority and UC Health EMS were dispatched by Fort Collins 911 to a structure fire in the 2300 block of W. County Rd. 38E. Engine 4 arrived to find a working fire and engaged an offensive attack and search for occupants. Firefighters assisted one occupant with evacuation who was evaluated for smoke inhalation by UCHealth ambulance crews. Defensive strategy, meaning working the fire from outside the structure, was necessary as multiple structures became fully involved in the fire due to high winds. Several PFA companies continued to work the fire until knockdown on the fire was called at 20:49.  All people are believed to have evacuated the two manufactured homes and outbuildings involved in the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation with a PFA investigator on scene. Additional information provided by the Poudre Fire Authority
