Pueblo Train Incident

On March 5th, 2025 around 20:00 Pueblo Fire Department, Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, BNSF Police Department, West Park Volunteer Fire Department, Pueblo West Fire Department and UCHealth Lifeline worked together to locate and airlift an individual that was struck by a Burlington Northern & Santa Fe train north of Pueblo. BNSF called 911 to report the accident and responders came together to locate and treat the patient for life threatening injuries. No one on the train was injured and the patient was flown to a local hospital. Information and photos provided by Pueblo Fire Department
