South Metro Dive 19 Training

South Metro Fire Rescue Dive 19 conducted dive team training at Cherry Creek State Park on May 24th, 2025. Firefighters kicked off their Memorial Day holiday weekend practicing search patterns, rope work and communications. SMFR has two dive units, one at Station 19 near Chatfield State Park and one at Station 31 near Cherry Creek State Park. Both respond to water related emergencies throughout the district and assist neighboring agencies when requested.
