At 11:08 on February 6th, 2025 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire in the at 87oo block of E. Dry Creek Rd. A realtor entered the residence and noticed a possible mattress fire, then immediately called 911 and safely evacuated the building. Crews arrived and deployed a 1.75” attack line and discovered fire in the closet of the unit. No other units were affected.
One person and a dog were displaced due to the fire. SMFR Fire Marshal’s Office investigators have determined the cause to be accidental.
