Weld County Road 7 Fatal House Fire

On June 6th, 2025 at 03:40 Mountain View Fire Rescue responded to a reported residential structure fire near the intersection of Weld County Rd. 7 just off of Hwy. 119, east of Longmont.
Engine 201 arrived to a confirmed fire with a home fully involved and requested additional units to respond. Crews got to work quickly, trying to get the flames under control. It took about 20 minutes to get a knock on the fire and several more hours to be considered fully out. There were 6 people in the home when the fire started, one person was taken to the hospital with burn injuries and several others were evaluated on scene. American Red Cross was requested to assist the residents.
