Cops In The Community BBQ

On December 9th, 2025 the Wheat Ridge Police Department held Wheat Ridge Badges and BBQ lunch at the Rolling Smoke BBQ, 7100 W. 38th Ave. in Wheat Ridge part of the “Cops In The Community” event. The community was invited to meet up with WRPD officers, were they also served up delicious food prepared by the Rolling Smoke BBQ while discussing how the police department is changing how they interact with its community members, how to increase their connections and discussed ideas of how to increase the safety in their neighborhoods and about all the things that they are doing to keep the community safe.
