Security Vehicle Fire

In the morning of September 19th, 2025 the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center dispatched the Security Fire Department for a possible vehicle fire at Widefield Park, 1200 Drury Lane. On scene responders were met with a passenger van fully involved in fire and acted quickly to knock down the fire. Engine 110 established a water supply while pulling an attack line to extinguish the fire. Once the fire was knocked down, crews began to overhaul the van looking for additional pockets of fire. No injuries were reported. Additional information provided by the Security Fire Department.
