Station 2 Open House

The West Metro Fire Rescue held an open house at Station 2, 1545 Robb St. in Lakewood on August 1st, 2026. The community came out to tour the station, meet up with the firefighters and ask questions and have their photos taken with some of the apparatus. Visitors got an unexpected treat, as crews raised Tower 2 to full extension. Snacks and drinks were also supplied. Station 2 was built in 1992 and is on the former site of the Lakewood-Mountair Fire Department (Colorado) Station 2 and Lakewood Fire Department (Colorado) Station 2.
