Aurora Garage Fire

At 11:06 on February 28th, 2026 Aurora 911 dispatched Aurora Fire Rescue to the 16000 block of E. Villanova Place on a working detached garage fire. Engine 7 arrived to a two-story single family with smoke showing from the garage and fence pulled a 1 3/4 line for fire attack. The fire was quickly put under control and the rest of the working structure fire response was cancelled. Battalion 3 arrived and assumed command. One patient was treated on scene with unknown injuries. Additional information provided by Aurora Fire Rescue
