Elbert Tender Reveal Party

On July 25th, 2026 the Elbert Fire Protection District welcomed two brand new water tenders into their fleet with a “Tender Reveal Party” ceremony at Station 231, 24310 Main St in Elbert. The fire district was able to purchase the two water tenders with a combined effort from both Fire Chief Brandon Homer as well as the Elbert Fire Board. The two tactical tenders were specially built to accommodate the district’s needs and not only do they hold a lot of water, they can also be used to fight wildfires and structure fires if needed. Community members also enjoyed a cookout at the fire station. Tender 230 will be stationed at Station 231 in Elbert and Tender 233 will be located at Station 233 in Western Elbert.
