West Metro Vegetation Fire

On January 16th, 2026 at 21:10 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a vegetation fire in the 2100 block of S. Wadsworth Blvd. in Lakewood. Engine 8 arrived and located a small vegetation fire also burning into the brush on the southside of an apartment building on W. Warren Circle. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and commenced the mop-up. No reported injuries and the scene is under investigation. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
