Englewood Bomb Scare

Shortly after 07:00 on December 24th, 2010 Englewood Police Department was dispatched to a criminal mischief call at CTS Wireless, 4720 S. Santa Fe Ave. after a neighboring merchant noticed some broken windows. Officers found ten unexploded devices in the store, which had been thrown through the windows and called for assistance from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and Englewood Fire Department. Officers were able to neutralize the explosives and safely remove them from the area. Englewood Police and ATF are investigating.
