Broomfield Sheridan Blvd Fire
North Metro Dryer Fire

On August 19th, 2012 North Metro Fire Rescue District was alerted to a possible structure fire at 12917 Sheridan Blvd. in Broomfield. Dispatch advised units that a dryer is on fire at this location. Engine 61 and Medic 61 arrived to multi floor care center with smoke coming from some vents with partial evacuation and entered for investigation on the Alpha side. Engine 61 reported fire out and started overhaul with hot spots using dry chem and removed material outside for extinguishment. Units stayed on scene for overhaul. No residences were displaced or injured.
