Windsor Magnesium Fire
At 12:40 on October 25th, 2012 Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue responded to a magnesium fire at 124 Main St. Engine 1 arrived on scene and found two pallets of magnesium, that was to be recycled on fire behind the business. Firefighters protected exposures until a front-end loader with dirt from the Town of Windsor arrived to help extinguish the magnesium fire.
