Fort Collins House Fire

At 16:48 on November 3rd, 2013 Poudre Fire Authority was called to 924 Pioneer Ave. on a reported structure fire. Engine 2 arrived on scene to find a large portion of the back of a one story structure in flames. An aggressive attack was able to knock down most of the fire in five minutes with full control coming within 30 minutes. A life-safety search was also performed while crews were working to contain the fire however no victims were located. Two occupants escaped injury and the residence suffered heavy fire damage to about 1/3 along with heat and smoke damage throughout. The residence on the north side suffered minor heat damage to the exterior. PFA investigators are working to determine origin and cause.
