Lakewood Deck Fire

At 01:32 on November 26th, 2013 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire in the 400 block of S. Ames St. Engine 7 arrived and sized up a small single-family dwelling with smoke showing, and pulled a 1 3/4 line in for fire attack with Medic 7. Medic 1 arrived and assigned as medical group, and Engine 3 pulled a 2nd line to the basement from the Charlie side for search. Tower 3 was assigned as salvage inside, and District 1 arrived and assumed command. Engine 4 arrived and assigned as RIT, Rescue 4 to utilities and SAM 1 as Safety. The fire was placed under control at 01:50 with no injuries reported and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
