Adams County Water Recovery

On August 10th, 2014 at approximately 14:00 Adams County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a water recover in Clear Creek south on Interstate 76. Initial reports indicated that a fisherman found a body in the water entailed in debris. Firefighters, sheriff’s deputies and the coroner’s office were on scene about two hours processing the scene and removing the body from the water. The Adam’s County Coroner’s office identified the body as a 39 year old Canadian man who disappeared in Golden on June 7, 2014, after jumping into the creek. The body was found 17 miles downstream. No foul play is suspected.
