Around 11:30 on August 13th, 2014 Denver Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on University Blvd. at Floyd Ave. Initial reports indicated that a vehicle had crashed into a building. A black Chevrolet Suburban traveling west on Floyd Ave. crossed over University Blvd, and ran off the road and crashed into a garage at 2390 Floyd Ave. The driver was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The garage and two cars parked inside sustained damage. Denver’s Collapse Rescue was dispatched to assist at the scene but was cancelled while en route. The incident which occurred in the City of Englewood was turned over to the Englewood Fire Department who stood by while the vehicle was towed away from the garage. Englewood Police Department are investigating.
