North Metro Safety Fair

North Metro Fire Rescue District held their annual Fire Safety Fair at Walmart in Northglenn on October 4th, 2014, part of Fire Prevention Week. The community came out to meet with the firefighters, learn about how to evacuate a home when there is an emergency, how to contact 911 and first responders and the importance of fire alarms and fire suppression systems. Kids enjoyed the inflatable safety house, toured the fire engine and ambulance on display, and a live fire burn demo.
