Arvada House Fire

At 16:18 on February 27th, 2015 Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a structure fire in the 7800 block of Grandview Ave. in Olde Town Arvada. Dispatch advised responding units that multiple 911 callers reporting fire showing from the front of the house. Engine 51 arrived to a working porch fire on the Alpha side of a small single-story residence, declared an defensive strategy and pulled a line in and began fire attack. Battalion 51 arrived and took command and assigned Engine 52 to a pull a 2nd line off Engine 51 for fire attack. Truck 54 arrived and split into squad & truck for primary search and utilities. Crews opened up and extinguished fire inside the Alpha-Delta corner before declaring the fire under control and out at 16:30. All searched proved negative with no reported injuries, and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by Arvada Fire Protection District.
