West Metro Residential Fire

On August 10th, 2015 at 13:57 West Metro Fire Rescue dispatched to a reported structure fire at 935 Fenton St. in Lakewood. Engine 1 arrived to a small residential structure fire with smoke showing from the eves, and upgraded to a confirmed structure fire. Engine 1 went into fast attack in the offensive strategy with accountability on the Alpha side, and advanced a 1 3/4 line in to the Charlie side. Engine 2 established a water supply, Medic 7 conducted a primary search and Tower 3 assigned as ventilation. Chief 9 arrived and took over command on the Alpha side and maintained the offensive strategy. Crews were able to knock the fire in the back of the home, with all searched negative. Crews found multiple pets inside, no injures were reported and the fire cause is under investigation.
