Firefighter Chili Cook-Off

The 29th Annual Firefighter Chili Cook-Off, hosted by IAFF Local 858, was held in Larimer Square in downtown Denver on September 30th, 2016. Firefighters from across the metro area traded in their turnout gear and halogen tools for cooking aprons and soup ladles in an effort to help raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Vail Fire Department took first place for Best Chili Con Carne and Denver Fire Department’s Station 8 won the Green Chili category.
