Adams County Structure Fire
May 18th, 2017 Adams County Fire Rescue was alerted to a structure fire at 3165 W. 63rd Ave, 911 caller advising that smoke is blowing out the front of the house. Engine 12 arrived to smoke showing with no flames from a 2-story medium size structure, pulled a line to the front door. Engine 14 arrived and established a water supply to Engine 12, and pulled in a second line. Battalion 11 arrived and assumed command on the Alpha-Delta corner. Medic 13 set-up for rehab, Westminster Fire Department Engine 1 and Medic 1 arrived, Engine 1 was assigned to gas and utilities, and then set-up RIC on the Alpha-Bravo corner, Medic 1 assisted Engine 14 with pulling ceiling and checking for extension. Crews worked an extended time checking the attic area, the fire was put under control with no injuries and the fire is under investigation.
